Consumer-Directed Services (CDS)

Designed for individuals with physical disabilities who can manage their own care. CDS participants have the ability to hire and direct their own attendants, ensuring personalized assistance with daily living tasks. Unlike traditional care models, CDS does not include services requiring licensed professionals, empowering individuals to maintain control over their care.



With Consumer-Directed Care, participants have the freedom to choose their own caregiver rather than having a state agency determine their care provider, schedule, and services. FloraCare supports individuals through training and guidance, ensuring they receive the care they need while maintaining independence and choice.
